GRANTSVILLE - Norman E. McKenzie, 55, Rockville, formerly of RD, Frostburg, died Sunday at Washington Hospital, Takoma Park. Born in Garrett County, April 29, 1906, he was a son of Inez (Minnick) McKenzie and the late Noah McKenzie. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Rockville. A cabinet maker, he was employed by Contempo Associates, Rockville. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Lena (Brown) McKenzie; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Michael, Rockville; four brothers, Leo and Cobey McKenzie, both of RD, Frostburg; Clinton McKenzie, Frostburg, and Stanley McKenzie, Star Route, Frostburg; four sisters, Mrs. Blanche Spiker, Midland; Mrs. Bertha Garlitz, RD, Frostburg; Mrs. Pearl Garlitz, RD, Lonaconing; and Mrs. Mabel Rush, Frostburg; and two grandchildren. The body will be at the Newman Funeral Home here. Requiem Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a. m. in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg, by Rev. Regis F. Larkin, assistant pastor. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. The body is at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where the Rosary will be recited tomorrow at 8 p. m. The Cumberland Evening Times, November 28, 1961
