- Mrs. Lena Harriet Robinette, 85, of Winchester Road, Cresaptown, died Saturday at Sacred Heart Hospital, where she was admitted Thursday. She had been ill for seven years. Born in Cresaptown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Carrie (Winter) Grant. Her husband, Sanford Robinette, died in 1963. Mrs. Robinette was a member of the Cresaptown Methodist Church and the Homemakers Club. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Esther Bane, Kirby, W. Va.; Mrs. Gordon Hershberger, at home, and Mrs. Ada Cecil, Cresaptown; a son, Cecil Robinette, Lovettsville, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Beck, Lebanon, Pa., and Mrs. Isaac Parker, Fairgo; three brothers, Charles L. Grant, Frostburg; James L. Grant, Cleona, Pa.; and Marshall Grant, of Rawlings; 16 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. The body is at the Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, 1502 National Highway, where a service will be conducted today at 11 a.m. with Rev. William W. Patterson officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park. Pallbearers will be Allen Grant, Carl E. Robinette, Earl B. Robinette, Clifford Grant, and George Grant, all nephews of the deceased, and Elmer Broadwater.
