- Ulysses E. McKenzie, 81, formerly of Cresaptown, died yesterday in Morgantown, W. Va., where he had resided the past eight months. He was a retired blacksmith. Mr. McKenzie was born February 25, 1869, in Cresaptown. His parents were the late Newton W. and Sarah K. (Starkey) McKenzie. Survivors include his widow, the former Miss Ora J. Hines; flve children, Walter M. and James E. McKenzie, Mrs. Eva M. Toothman, Mrs. Gladys Chesshire and Mrs. Ethel Beeghly, all of this city; two half-brothers, Burt Dermer, Eckhart, and John Dermer, Philadelphia; a sister, Mrs. Emma Goth, Washington; two half-sisters, Mrs. Edith Shober, Cleveland, and Mrs. Grace Walker, this city; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where services will be conducted tomorrow at 11 a. m. by Rev. A. B. L. Fisher, pastor Grace Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
